Fifth-generation family weavers create these napkins and placemats in a classic style using a 150-year-old mill. The collection is woven from 100% pure Belgian flax, which has been grown for thousands of years with very little modern intervention, is gentle on the land and does not need irrigation. Machine wash or dry clean. Made in Belgium.

All parts of the flax plant are used to make these linens.
At the end of their useful life, these undyed linens are biodegradable and recyclable.
Special finishing procedures give the fabric a soft, vintage look.

Danish designer Jens Quistgaard, whose immensely popular Dansk tableware pieces helped define Scandinavian modern in postwar America, designed the Fiona Teak Tray. Use it alone as an elegant serving tray, or fit it on top of the Teak Folding Stool (sold separately) to create small end table. Use the lightweight yet sturdy Tray indoors or out, then tuck it away until next time.

Tray can be used separately or in combination with the Teak Folding Stool to create a side table.
The bottom has the characteristic grating while the sides are made of five layers of molded teak.
Like all teak, the Tray will patina to a rich, silvery color over time, or can be treated with teak oil to maintain its original luster.
May be used indoors or outdoors.

Japanese designer Yumiko Sekine uses raw linen from Lithuania to create the Fog Linen Napkin (1999), which gets softer with age and becomes even more absorbent with each washing. With neatly squared corners and basic, functional shapes, there's an honest simplicity to Sekine's work, which is also reflected in how the Fog Linen Collection began. When Sekine had her first small apartment, she decided to make herself a few things, like an apron and a cover for her teapot. When she moved to a larger apartment, she needed a few more things, like a kitchen cloth and table cloth. Basically, every time Sekine moved to a larger space, her Fog Linen Collection grew, adapting to fit her household needs. The name and size of each item is stamped directly on the product (this stamp washes away over time).
